The events programme.
Our conferences, seminars and salons are the principal instruments by which we do the work. Some are public; some are by application; some are by invitation. Each is, in our experience, the better for being convened in person.

7th International Conference on the Mathematics of Neuroscience and AI
Our peer-reviewed scientific conference. Submission-led, selective, oriented toward open problems and rigorous exchange across neuroscience, machine learning, applied mathematics and the foundations of intelligence.

AE Global Summit 2026, Open Problems for AI
The Annual Meeting of Thinking About Thinking. Three days. Researchers, engineers, founders, investors and policymakers convened around the open problems of artificial intelligence: research, infrastructure, application, governance.

Seminar Groups
Online, discussion-led sessions across our academic areas. We've designed them for continuity, and oriented them toward sustained, technically grounded exchange. Launching 2026.

Fellowship
Our standing society of fellows and ambassadors, at work in more than 200 cities. Members gather in person at seminars, conferences and salons; between gatherings, we're held together by correspondence.
Read more →Beyond the flagship conferences and the standing programmes, we convene smaller local gatherings across the year: evening salons, partner panels and venture cafés held jointly with universities, research groups and adjacent organisations. They are, by design, narrower in scope and more direct in form.

Thinking About Thinking × Oxford: An Evening of AI Talks
An evening at the frontier of AI: a keynote, a fast-moving line-up of talks across clinical AI, the mathematics of intelligence, neuroscience and autonomous scientific agents, and a closing panel, at the Mathematical Institute, Oxford.

AI for Science: From Pre-Seed to Breakthrough
An evening at Venture Café London, in partnership with Thinking About Thinking, on how artificial intelligence is reshaping the conduct of science: hypothesis generation, simulation, drug discovery, materials design.
About the Gathering →The seminar series runs across the year. Sessions are listed here as they open for registration on Luma.
